Lifestyle-focused & aesthetic. Real Food. Real Life. Real choices for gentle living. A food-tech mom's lens.

Hi All,

Hope you are well. 🙂

With much joy and gratitude, I would like to share with you about my special milestone and a new step in my life.

By the grace of God, I discovered a hidden part of my personality. May be I can call it a discovery.

While on a break from my profession as a food technologist, and knowing I wouldn’t be able to return to a full-time, onsite work anytime soon, the constant thought in me was – What next?

Trying out, researching, exploring different platforms, profiles, and so on. But, now I can connect with a quote heard some time before – “God actually prepares the solution first, before letting you into a problem.”

He knows what we face now, what’s ahead – in fact, the full picture, something which we do not know. That ‘we do not know’ is the point one tends to give up.

Yes, I have been at that point, many times. But, God pulls us back from that point to the right path. A silence, a pause, a thought – sometimes that’s enough to rediscover yourself.

In Bible, Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Yes, He, The Creator, doesn’t forget you or me, but, sometimes do you or do I? Yeah, many a times.

But, there’s always a new chance, a new day, a sunrise.

Today gave me one such moment. I’m here to share that with you. By God’s grace, I was able to author a book for children of ages two and above. It’s published on Amazon worldwide. You can check it out here – https://www.amazon.fr/Trace-Pre-writing-Adventure-Story-based-Pre-Writing/dp/B0GXVDNCT2

It’s not about the book, but to me it’s all about finding another version of me. I am very much grateful to my parents, my husband, my family, my siblings, friends – who stand with me unwaveringly.

There have been ‘ups and downs’. There are ‘ups and downs’. There will be ‘ups and downs’. Hey, so many ‘past, present, future’ phrases today right? Hmm..but, that’s the reality. May be as one matures, one realizes. Yes, I realized it.

When everything seems impossible and stuck, just try to move a finger – you as a whole system that God crafted, each cell in you is still working. You’ll make it.

Prayer, has always been my strength. I am always grateful to my parents and God for blessing my sibling and me with my parents – who covers us in prayer.

WAIT! Did I forget to mention someone above? That someone indeed deserves royalty. My child.

I didn’t know what every phase of life does to one. I never realized what each stage in life is trying to teach me. Yes, my childhood I learned, adolescence, and adulthood had so many chapters and exams to pass.

But, this phase of motherhood is teaching me – I am learning, unlearning and discovering beautifully.

Everyone has these stages. Just a realization is enough to may be unmask a new you, a new potential, and something greater you didn’t even think about.

No one’s situation is the same. It’s easy to talk or write. But, the one passing through any situation really knows how difficult it is.

I consider empathy more valuable than sympathy. May be a smile, a gentle conversation can light up the other one’s day. Kindness. This virtue matters the most.

I pray that each one of you finds the strength for today and tomorrow while learning from the past.

On that note, signing off. Wish you a beautiful weekend!

MJ.
