I’m trying to build a new habit which I believe would benefit me and help me manage my daily life.

I tried my best to follow the routine strictly, with no chance of changing the procedure even a bit every day. By the end of the week, I was exhausted. I was worried and frustrated seeing myself fail to keep up with the standard procedure.
I gave up. In fact, I hated the whole thing and never wanted to get back to even trying to build it again. That’s how irritated I was.

Then, one fine morning, I was out for a walk. My mind was calm. Walking through the yard with a warm smile, the breeze embracing me, enjoying the sounds of nature — a moment of mindfulness.

My new habit, the thought of rebuilding it, ran back through my mind.
I realized something. Why don’t I let myself be simple? Why am I too strict with myself?
Why don’t I just do what I can each day to build the little good habit, instead of forcing myself to focus on building it?

Let me just let it stay as a part of my day and not focus on it too much. Days passed. Weeks passed. Now, I have the habit with me.

I keep it close to me — not the habit, but the way I built it. I’m proud of myself. I am happy about myself. I fought the beast and the beauty is gracing me now 🙂

While becoming a mother is a very beautiful milestone for every girl, being herself after reaching the milestone, helps her embrace the role with grace. I believe this is true for anyone – at any age, in any season or in any role.

Grow gently. Let the beauty lead.

See you later . 🙂
